Introduction

Effective June 10, 2024, Ocwen Financial Corporation has been renamed Onity Group Inc. The changes to the name do not impact our privacy practices, nor anyone’s current opt out preferences. The name change will not result in any needed action for consumers. Effective March 23, 2026 PHH Mortgage Corporation has changed its name to Onity Mortgage Corporation.

Onity Mortgage Corporation f/k/a PHH Mortgage Corporation, " is a direct subsidiary of Onity Group Inc. and handles all of the servicing-related activity for your mortgage loan(s), and thus all privacy-related questions or concerns should be sent to its attention. We are committed to providing a transparent notice of our privacy practices.

Onity Mortgage Corporation primarily offers personal, household or family financial products or services.   • Information provided by you such as name, address, email address, telephone number, social security number, education, employment, financial information, your assets and liabilities, income, username/password, your internet protocol address, and other personally identifying information;
  • Information provided by third parties about you, such as credit reporting agencies, appraiser, insurance companies, employers, and real estate broker;
  • Information provided by Our subsidiaries and affiliates, such as your loan approval amount, loan balance, payment history and other loan account information from businesses within Onity Group Inc.; and
  • Information collected automatically as you navigate through the Website. Information collected automatically may include usage details, IP addresses and inforamtion collected through cookies for advertisements

How We Use Your Information

We use information that We collect about you or that you provide to Us:

To non-borrowers who make mortgage payments on a loan we service; If you are a non-borrower/non-authorized third party who provides Us information in relations to an account serviced by Us, you agree and hereby consent to allowing us to share your information with Our borrower or authorized account holder.

Text Messages About Your Account

When you consent to using your cellphone for texts and calls from Our automated phone system, you are eligible to receive text messages about your account from Onity Group Inc and Our Subsidiaries and Affiliates. This may include reminders about appointments or missed payments, services and offers provided by Our Company, loan application assistance, and other account inquiries. Consent to receive automated text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. We will not use this number to send marketing-related messages without your separate, express written consent.

By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive text messages from Onity Group Inc., its subsidiaries and affiliates, including Onity Mortgage Corporation.

Once you are signed up for this service, you can cancel at any time; just reply "STOP". When we receive your request to cancel, we will send a final text message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive text messages from Us. If you want to join again, give us a call. You may also reply “HELP” for help or call Us at 1-800-449-8767.

Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent between you and Us. Your wireless provider is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. If you have any questions about your phone plan, please contact your wireless provider. Message frequency may vary.

We will not share/sell/assign your consent to receive text messages with third parties/non-affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Aggregated Usage Tracking

Aggregated usage tracking is conducted through the use of Internet Protocol (IP) addresses and cookies, as described below. Such information enables us to tailor our content to fit Customers' needs better and to help our advertisers understand our audience. We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify an individual.

Use of Internet Protocol (IP) Addresses

An IP address is a unique number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you're surfing the Internet so that your computer can be identified by the main computers known as web servers that "serve up" or display web pages.

We collect IP addresses for the purposes of system administration, to report aggregated information to our advertisers, and to audit the use of Our Websites. When Customers request pages from Us, Our servers log the Customers' IP addresses.. Please refer to how We may use your information in the above section of this Privacy Policy. This includes the need to enforce compliance with Our Website terms of use agreement, other terms of service of Us, or to protect Our service, Website, customers or others.
