Corporate Philanthropy

Community Outreach and Homeowner Assistance Events

We are committed to providing personalized care and solutions to help our customers save money, build equity and – most importantly – stay in their homes. We understand that for many people, their home is their largest asset and the main contributor to their family wealth. We care for millions of mortgage customers every day and have helped more than 800,000 families stay in their homes.

Onity participates in a variety of community outreach and homeowner assistance programs and events with local and national organizations around the country. We are particularly focused on areas still suffering the effects of the 2008 housing crisis as well those impacted by COVID-19. As a company, Onity is always seeking new and innovative ways to reach our homeowners, better serve their unique needs and find solutions that will improve their lives.

Since 2008, Onity has hosted more than 728 homeowner assistance events virtually and throughout the country where borrowers can learn about options available to them and schedule an appointment with a HUD-approved housing counselor to discuss their personal situation.

In 2014, Onity created a Community Advisory Council (the “Council”) to provide a forum for Onity leaders and community advocates to share ideas, discuss policy issues and collaboratively identify opportunities for Onity to continue its positive impact on local communities, particularly those hit hardest by economic downturns. The Council is comprised of a diverse group of national, regional and local nonprofit housing counseling, community development and civil rights organizations from across the country.
